Modena is a city and a comune (municipality) on the south side of the Po valley, in the Province of Modena in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy.The Cathedral of Modena and the annexed campanile are a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Modena Cathedral is a Romanesque Roman Catholic cathedral church in Modena, Italy. It is the cathedral, or duomo in Italian, of the Archdiocese of Modena-Nonantola. Consecrated in 1184, it is one of the most important Romanesque buildings in Europe.
